Five New Senses to Access Personal Power

Many scientists believe that we have 9 senses.  Our external senses provide information about the outside world and what we hear, see, smell, taste, and touch. And, our internal senses: balance, pain, hunger, and thirst are providing information about our body and what we need. 

My friend Jennifer Crews has had some unique life experiences that have helped her discover – 5 more senses that manifest inward and outward.

Did you know you were born with the tools to access an abundant supply of power from within. You do this already using your five physical senses. The ability to taste, touch, smell, hear and see as a means to engage in your surrounding environment. The five outer senses serve as a bridge between the physical you and the physical world around you. They help you decipher and absorb your immediate surroundings.  They assist you in communicating with the outside world and they help you receive information from what is happening externally outside of your body. They are primal senses. Whether you realize it or not, you use and rely on these senses to powerfully engage with your world.

What if I told you there are five more? Five more senses that even more deeply assist you to decipher your environment with acute awareness. Five more senses that are a gift inside of you to strengthen your sense of self and more easily access your personal truth in your every day life. Five more senses that add to an already amazing foundation of you to build power in your relationships.

The additional senses are the gateway to your inner beauty and personal power. They deepen your sense of self. They allow you to decipher even the subtlest changes in your environment, in your conversations, and in your overall awareness level to make choices that are more in alignment with your true self.

The Five Additional Inner Senses

The 6th Sense is Intuition.

Your inner gut response.  Intuition is the ability to just KNOW beyond all rationale thought or mind solution. Your personalized experience of receiving and deciphering information received through invisible avenues.  Learning how your intuition talks to you is the core of mastering the 6th Sense. You have an inner language that is unique only to you. Learn how your intuition talks to you.

The 7th Sense is Energy Awareness. 

The ability to tune in and recognize that everything around you vibrates at a particular energy frequency. Everything is made of and is an expression of energy.  There are many different languages in which energy expresses itself. Thousands of tools are available to strengthen your 7th sense and connect with energy.  Examples are everything from Acupuncture, Astrology, Reiki, Reflexology, Yoga, and many many more.

The 8th Sense is Personal Power through Integrity and Alignment. 

This sense is exercised when you align what you feel, WITH what you say, AND with what you do. All three aspects are in complete alignment. This is the cornerstone of walking your talk and talking your walk.

The 9th Sense is what I refer to as Self Love. 

It is becoming aware that you are the ONLY authority of you. You are the #1 expert on you. There is no outside external force or influence that can know more about you than YOURSELF.  You are your own expert. To access this sense is to choose self advocacy and practice it in every moment.
The 10th Sense is Purity.

The ability to reconnect with that pure aspect of self. Children and animals have this natural awareness and free form expression of their purity – they OWN their purity.  Knowing your spirit – that pure aspect of self which is uniquely you and allows you to flow through each day with a sense of ease.
These additional senses are beyond the physical.  They are invisible aspects of yourself that create a more complete picture of ones experience.   They are not better than the physical senses they actually compliment the five physical senses. All are needed to have a WHOLE experience. When you use ALL of your senses you are contributing to your overall health and well being and authentic release of your core inner beauty and personal power.
