I have always taken good care of myself and have been healthy all my life - so ending up in the hospital was quite unexpected. A month in the hospital (and literally fighting for my life) caused me to think about ways I can take even greater care in loving and nourishing myself. As a natural gourmet chef, I decided that creating a space abundant with food was my next goal.
You will see that I don't have a lot of land, but I set an intention to make the best use of the space that I do have and to create beds of food wherever possible. I knew that I could make it both inviting emotionally, as well as serve me physically but needed help because I knew nothing about gardening.
