Life on the Mental Level

We have between 12,000 - 50,000 thoughts per day and the energy behind our thoughts has a profound effect on our bio-psycho-social reality. Conscious thoughts and deep rooted beliefs help create realities in the physical world. At Life Dr. we focus on what is and what's positive! Quantum physics - attempting to explain the unexplainable; the collective unconscious, neuro-science, neuro-chemistry and our neurological system. Let's celebrate our miraculous brain. 

Physical Life & the Body

An exploration of home: our amazing body and it's systems. How it works and what it needs. Inner & outer. Our physical environments. What we do in the world ...our actions vs. our intentions and aligning the two. A balance of what we want vs. what we need. Everything tangible. How 'dis-ease' impacts our body causing illness and discomfort. Spotlight on self-care and physically manifesting what we want inside and out!

Life on the Spiritual Level

When we explore the deeper connection between our internal and external environments, we become more conscious of our own power, our personal responsibility and how our lives are improved by acting with intention. Karma, conscious living, and the bond to spirit, the collective unconscious and a higher power. It's an energy and it's POSITIVE!

Life on the Emotional Level

There is a lot of confusion about the difference between our feelings (happy, sad, fearful, angry), and our emotions. Feelings are more universally felt in nature and circumstance, while our emotions are an expression of the personality and what we put out in the world. Emotions are the tension between our inside world and the outside world. They're our 'reactions' towards someone or something, and usually involve our ego.

Exploring our Emotional Life means tuning in to how we are feeling: inside ourselves, within our different environments, as well as with the people we choose to have in our lives. Our commitment to activities and behaviors that provide: a sense of accomplishment, creative outlet, or some sense of purpose or support, enhances our well-being and the well-being of others.

Relationships

The dynamics of a healthy relationship begin with you! When we feel comfortable with who we are, know our value and that we're worthy of love, we love and value others. Let's explore personal, family and professional relationships. What it means to 'trust'. Heart-centered, authentic communication.  Needs, boundaries and the importance of listening.  Sex vs. sensuality. Inner & outer relationships with ourselves, the global community, and to things, like money.

Natural Gourmet & Nutrition

Everything food! Recipes-for-life, meal planning and preparation, urban gardening, farm-to-table, life-enhancing seasonal foods. The science of healthy whole foods and their nutritional benefits, using food-as-medicine and a bit of history, the use of supplements, greens, natural, organic, wild, grass-fed, raw and more!

Healthy Living

A healthy life is a life in balance and so much more than exercising, eating & sleeping well. Let's explore the connection between our internal and external environments and consciously create a life of passion & purpose. We can learn to be our best-selves and live our best-lives at home, with friends & family, at work and on a global level. Congratulations 1st Family ...

This is Mrs. Obama and I, before the first election! Over the years, I've had some amazing life experiences, and I have had to overcome many challenges, as well.  I understand that change can be very difficult! It often feels like we're taking several steps back, as we're moving forward.  When we learn to embrace what we want and take positive action, ...we're fueling the fire and supporting our dreams so that one day, they may become our reality. One of the many reasons that I've voted for our President (to remain our President) is that he understands some of these deeper issues through his own suffering and personal experience.

Mind-Soul vs. Brain

Do you believe that your mind-soul is part of your body, or that it is a separate entity from the physical body? 

Science and life experiences support both theories.  Hippocrates was 1st to say that the mind is in the brain, while Aristotle postured that the mind was in the heart. The fact is, your mind-soul is in every part of you.  It is thought to come into the physical body at birth and emanates from a very sensitive point that is just past the eyes, and directly in between your ears.

Introducing: My Life, My Power ...

I am very happy to be involved with Daniel Puder and his anti-bullying & mentoring program and to share the news of the release of our new book. 

"The My Life My Power book takes on the approach of meeting each child and teenager at particular stages in the bullying cycle: if they are a victim of bullying, if they are a witness to bullying incidents and don’t know how to intervene and help, or if they themselves are the bully.
